Eating Organic and Type 2 Diabetes

Eating more food has been shown to be associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes. In fact, every 5% increase in the proportion of organic foods in the diet results in a 5% decrease in the risk of type 2 diabetes. 3%. When the group with the highest percentage of organic food in their diet is compared with the group with the least organic food in their diet, the consumer pressure will be 35% less and the disease will be created.

Organic food not only protects health, but also reduces the amount of synthetic pesticides in the environment that can harm pollinators and other wildlife, sequester carbon and help grow the local economy.
